I’m one of those women (a bit of a control freak, I must admit) who always carry everything they need for a quick beauty touch-up!

As well as hand cream (at the moment I love Age Repair Hand Cream Grown Alchemist, which feels wonderfully comforting yet absorbs in no time), I carry practically my entire make-up bag in my handbag. I pull it out if I have an important meeting during the day or before heading to a restaurant in the evening.

My goal? In just two minutes: freshen up my complexion, accentuate my eyes or lips, and add a little volume to my fine hair, which is usually rather flat by the end of the day.

For my complexion, I never go anywhere without “Un” Cover-Up RMS Beauty (in shade 11): a little pot of cream concealer with easily buildable coverage and a beautifully luminous finish. It does an incredible job of concealing small spots and dark circles (I always apply some around my nostrils and lips too, to brighten the areas where natural contours create shadows). It’s my quick and easy touch-up because I simply apply it with my finger!

Next, I brush on a little  Volumizing Lip and Cheek Tint Very Naughty  Tata Harper , a brick red that I build up on my cheekbones and lightly sweep over my forehead, temples and jawline to warm up my complexion when I’m looking a little pale. Its warm shade really gives me a healthy glow and particularly suits brunettes ;-)

Then, if I’m going out, I subtly accentuate either my eyes or my lips: I apply the Eye Pencil Kjaer Weis along my waterline like kohl to define my eyes (it has the creamy texture I love and is incredibly easy to apply), or I dab on the Transmission Lip Pencil Ilia Beauty after coating my lips with Lip Balm Ren Skincare (the best in my eyes; I’ve used it faithfully for years) for a just-bitten lip effect.

And since my fine hair looks rather limp by evening, I spritz on some texturising spray to turn up the volume. I’m hooked on Dry Texturizing Spray Oribe and buy it again and again. It doesn’t turn my flat hair into Blake Lively’s mane, but it gives it a slightly tousled look, lifts the roots and adds body and movement.

And there you have it: all done in three minutes ;-)
