It’s been six years since we started Laure de Sagazan. There are three of us: I founded it with Edouard, who is now my husband, and my cousin Mathilde. We realised there was a gap in the bridalwear market and that women couldn’t find what they wanted. So we launched the company without really knowing where it would take us.
The idea is to offer wedding dresses that feel a little different, with a look that’s less formal than what we were used to seeing. We opened our showroom in Paris, then one in New York last year, and I’ve now spent six years surrounded by white fabrics, lace and dresses.

Laure’s morning routine

For a long time, my skin was prone to eczema and I had a lot of allergies. It’s been much better for the past few years,
so I can have some fun with products! But I still have to be careful: my skin is very dry. So I use UltraCalming Serum Concentrate by Dermalogica. I also use Vital Facial Cream by Nuori quite a lot, and I like pharmacy skincare creams, so I use Hydreane Extra Rich by La Roche-Posay. I also alternate with Esthederm—I like their mask now and then—and Aesop products, whose scents and textures I’ve always liked.

Laure’s evening
routine

My latest discovery is Cornflower Floral Water Micellar Gel by Patyka, and I think it’s brilliant! It dries out my skin much less than my previous make-up remover. Such a great find!

Her make-up routine

I start with High Definition Illuminating CC Cream by Erborian, and then I’m quite loyal to Laura Mercier. I really like the products and use a little blush. I’m not big on make-up, but I do wear a bit.

Her beauty secret

You’ll like my beauty secret: since last year, we’ve been offering our brides facials in your treatment rooms, and I’ve had the chance to try them myself. They’re such a lovely break! I didn’t used to make much time for beauty treatments, but I have to admit that taking a pause from the everyday routine feels really good!

Her latest Paris find

I recently discovered The Hoxton in the 2nd arrondissement, not far from our studio. I really liked its unusual atmosphere, and it’s refreshing to have new restaurants and hotels with that sort of feel.
