So you have oily skin!
Your skin gets shiny and your pores are enlarged (even outside the T-zone). Your skin texture may be fairly thick, and small blemishes may appear.
In fact, your skin is working overtime: it produces too much sebum. This imbalance may be caused by hormonal changes or external factors (the weather or an overly harsh routine).
The upside? You have little sensitivity or redness, and your skin ages much more slowly ;)

For a deep cleanse (without being harsh on your skin!)
What to avoid
- 1. Mineral oils (listed as "Mineral Oil" or "Paraffinium Liquidium" in ingredients lists), which can suffocate oily skin.
- 2. Harsh cleansers and lotions: when your skin feels under attack, it produces even more sebum. It’s a vicious circle!
- 3. The sun may dry out blemishes at first, but watch out for the rebound effect when autumn comes!
The steps that make a difference!
- 1. Cleanse thoroughly, but gently! The plan: a simple cleanse in the morning, a double cleanse in the evening, and chemical exfoliation twice a week for a deep skin detox... and that’s it ;)
- 2. Mattifying skincare with oil-absorbing powders to absorb sebum and help rebalance your skin over time.
